    Summary

    This position is located at Department of Housing and Urban Development , Assistant Secretary for Policy Development and Research .

    Duties

    The following are the duties of this position at the GS-12 . If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.

    As a Program Analyst (GTR) , you will:
  • Advise and coordinate with PDR and HUD Government Technical Monitors (GTMs), and other technical and program staff to process work plans, performance reports, and invoices in a timely manner.
  • Consult with other HUD staff to assess appropriateness of proposed tasks, schedule, key personnel, and budgeted activities.
  • Utilize management information systems to manage awards and makes recommendations to management on uses of management information systems to improve the administrative and programmatic aspects of the program.
  • Conduct close-out schedules for technical assistance grantees, provides final written evaluation of grantees' performance and conducts follow-up with field office staff on final GTR reports where necessary.
  • Participate as a team member in the development of the annual Notice of Federal Assistance (NOFA) and assists with the review of applications of potential technical assistance providers.
