    **Description**

    Gray is currently seeking experienced **Service** **Manager -** **Commercial** **- Restaurant & Retail Construction** to join our team in Sacramento, CA.

    The Service Manager is responsible for the day to day execution of service calls for our diverse client base which includes, but not limited to popular nationwide coffees houses, fast food restaurants, and grocery store chains.

    Essential job functions:

    Develop a positive relationship with clients Oversee and manage maintenance work assignments performed by technicians

    Review work orders to ensure that jobs are completed to our standards and invoiced timely Prepare client requested capital projects and schedule for execution

    Conducts financial business analysis for the facilities dept. to include preparation of reports include labor analysis, GP analysis, travel review, billed time vs shop time, etc.

    Participate in strategic planning, direction and goal setting for the Service/Facilities Dept.

    Works closely with the other Service Managers, Facilities Coordinator, Scheduling, Dispatch and rest of the Gray team

    Reviews and provides support for any monthly P & L facility maintenance costs variances

    Maintains and manages safety and regulatory issues associated with all service calls Utilize software programs to manage the tracking of people and assets

    Assist with negotiating price for commonly ordered material and quoted service Ensure that projects and facilities work is performed on time and within budget Manage the facilities maintenance capital and expense budgets to meet company goals

    Coordinate initiatives and activities with other internal depts. that are related to the functions of the facilities group

    Review and approve cost estimates for facilities maintenance projects

    Responsible for the subsequent training of all service technicians

    Assisting with ensuring that emergency customer requests are responded to in a time frame mandated by the respective client

    Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures complying with legal codes and regulations

    Achieve an expected quarterly/annual level of Sales, Revenue and GP% for customers managed

    Must possess basic computer skills, including the ability to utilize word processing, spreadsheet, surveying equipment computers and e-mail applications.

    **Required Experience:**

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and seven years construction experience in closely related field.

    Minimum of five years experience working in a facilities service manager type capacity

    A good understanding of most trades including electrical, carpentry, flooring, plumbing, and painting

    Detail oriented superior organizational skills, ability to accurately prioritize multiple tasks and respond to emergency situations and follow through

    Good verbal/written communications skills

    Proven track record of excellent customer facing/ relationship skills

    Able to work efficiently with cross functional teams and manage numerous projects (multi-tasking)

    Support On-call to respond / dispatch technicians to emergency off- hour service calls
