    We are looking for a Senior Property Accountant to join our team

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
    • Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets
    • Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
    • Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
    • Report analysis and findings to management team
    • Verify and Record financial transactions from bank statements,
    • Perform monthly reconciliation of bank and credit card statements
    • Follow-up of month-end open items.
    • Support Job Cost module and prepare loan draws (CapEx Reserves, Required Repairs, etc).
    • Review delinquency per assigned property and makes sure monthly write-offs are completed.
    • Contribute to the development of accounting procedures and strategies to improve efforts, record keeping, and account management including exploring new tools and software.

    ​Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in accounting or other related fields
    • Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
    • Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools
    • Detail and deadline-oriented
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance a plus.
    • 3‐7 years experience working in an accounting department preparing financials.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
    • Experience in Yardi Voyager required.
    • Ability to process complex tasks with minimal instructions.
    • Ability to multi‐task and have good organizational skills.
    • Must possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Must be able to communicate professionally and effectively with other staff members, property employees, and the Executive team.
    • Strong analytical, problem‐solving, and organizational skills.
    • Able to adapt to changing priorities.
    • Able to work independently and assist in leading the team.
    • Strong work ethic and the ability to take the initiative.
    • Salary is based on experience.
