    Description


    Headquartered in West Los Angeles, our Real Estate client is searching for a Senior Property Accountant with experience in Multifamily properties experience.

    The client has about $5-10 billion under management and operates all over the US.

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for all accounting functions for several multifamily properties within the multifamily real estate group.

    Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $45 to $50 per hour.

    Job Description

    Maintaining and supporting the general ledger
    Recording revenue, accruing expenses, monthly financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, profit and loss analysis
    Preparation of consolidated and/or combined financial statements on a quarterly basis

    Requirements

    Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
    Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
    Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences
    5 days a week in office
    Understanding partnership agreements, promotes/waterfalls, and debt agreements
    Understand accounting and reporting to investors

    Experience

    2-5+ years of real estate industry experience
    Internal controls for real estate operations and accounting
    Financial reporting
    Strong knowledge of GAAP
    Public/Private Combo
    Yardi or MRI, preferred
