    We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Property Accountant with proficiency in Yardi to join our dynamic team. This position is located in Woodland Hills, CA .


    Position Overview:


    As a Property Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations related to our property management portfolio.

    The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Yardi software and possess a strong understanding of real estate accounting principles.


    Responsibilities:
    Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.

    Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.

    Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.

    Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries.

    Summarizes financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.

    Produces payroll by initiating computer processing; printing checks, verifying finished product.

    Completes external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors.

    Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements.

    Secures financial information by completing database backups.

    Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

    Minimum of 3 years of experience in property accounting.

    Proficient in Yardi software.

    Solid understanding of real estate accounting principles and practices.

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.

    Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
