    Company Overview:

    Our client is a prominent real estate company known for its excellence in managing diverse commercial and residential properties. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Property Accountant to join their finance team on a contract-to-hire basis. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success of our extensive property portfolio and grow within a dynamic organization.

    Responsibilities:
    • Prepare timely financial statements adhering to GAAP
    • Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
    • Oversee end-to-end accounting processes for properties
    • Maintain fixed asset records and reconcile bank statements
    • Review lease agreements for accurate recording of income and expenses
    • Manage rent billing, collection, and ensure lease compliance
    • Collaborate on annual property budgets and forecasts
    • Monitor budget performance and analyze variances
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards
    • Support internal and external audits
    • Identify opportunities for process streamlining and automation
    • Collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
    • Minimum 4 years of experience
    • Proficiency in property management software and advanced MS Excel
    Contract-to-Hire Structure:
    Successful candidates will start on a contract basis with potential for a permanent position based on performance and business needs.

    • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
    • licensure and certification requirements;

    With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure.
