    Ledgent is teaming up with a respected commercial property management company to find a temporary Property Accountant This is a fantastic chance to join a well-established firm known for its welcoming, family-like atmosphere and a team of experienced professionals. Don't miss out-apply today

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manage all aspects of accounting: accounts payable/receivable, monthly accruals, and financial statements for multiple properties.
    • Reconcile cash, payables, receivables, prepaid rent, security deposits, and control accounts.
    • Calculate monthly property management and construction fees.
    • Maintain tenant lease information, post rent payments, and email statements.
    • Process invoices through Yardi.
    • Provide financial data for property acquisitions and dispositions, including revenue/expense prorations and rent/security deposit calculations.
    • Draft monthly cashflow forecasts for management.
    • Perform annual CAM true-ups in Yardi and update tenant ledgers.
    • Prepare tax documentation for external preparers and assist with annual Federal and State filings.
    • Set up vendor 1099 information and assist with annual 1099 preparation.
    • File business licenses, property tax, and sales tax as required.
    • Handle miscellaneous accounting tasks as assigned.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 2+ years of industry accounting experience, preferably commercial property management.
    • Yardi experience highly preferred
