    Description
    We have a good opportunity for an experienced Property Accountant to join a client in the real estate industry. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $40 to $50 per hour.


    Job Description:
    Handle full-cycle accounting including preparation and analysis of the financial statements, general ledgers, subsidiary ledgers, and review of job cost reportsPerform all month-end reconciliations and understand all entries and postings to balance sheet and income statement accounts for assigned propertiesAssist with the year-end audit including preparation of audit schedulesAssist with the year-end tax preparation including preparation of tax schedulesWork with investor relations group in the preparation and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual investor reporting


    Requirements:
    Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsAble to communicate with professionals at all levelsAble to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences


    Experience:
    Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university program with an emphasis in accounting.
    CPA a plus but not required. Can assist in CPA hours requirement.
    Minimum of 2-5 years of prior accounting experience required, preferably in the real estate industry.
    Advanced knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) regulations.
