    UP.Labs, a mobility-focused Venture lab transforming the moving world with corporate partners like Porsche and Alaska Airlines, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Partner Development Executive.

    As our Corporate Partner Development leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the growth and overall success of UP.Labs by engaging with new and current corporate partners.

    This includes identifying and closing new strategic corporate partners all the way through long-form negotiations and continuous relationship management post-execution.


    This role offers the unique opportunity to work closely with multi-national enterprise corporate partners and helping this industry innovate to scale, as well as working with the companies we launch together in board, advisory, and other capacities.


    Key Focus Areas:

    Corporate Partner Development:
    Lead the identification and evaluation of potential corporate partners, assessing strategic fit, synergies, and growth opportunities.
    Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders at target companies, including CEOs, C-level executives, and decision-makers.
    Monitor and track partnership performance, identifying opportunities for optimization and growth.

    Strategic Planning and Execution:


    With our CFO - lead negotiations, deal structuring, and execution of corporate partner contracts and M&A transactions, including conducting negotiations, and coordinating legal and financial due diligence processes.

    Develop and refine corporate partner development strategies in alignment with the company's overall vision, goals, and market dynamics.
    Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities to identify emerging strategic opportunities and potential risks.
    Portfolio Company Management

    Collaborate with portfolio company CEOs

    and management teams as Board Member/observer

    to understand their strategic priorities and support partnership initiatives that align with their growth objectives.
    Serve as a liaison between portfolio companies and corporate partners, facilitating collaboration, communication, and mutual success.

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; MBA, Masters, or advanced degree

    Proven track record of successful corporate development, M&A, or business development experience within the B2B technology, venture capital, consulting, or startup ecosystem.

    Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex business opportunities and conduct financial modeling and analysis.

    Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    Strategic mindset, with the ability to think creatively and identify innovative opportunities for partnership and growth.
    Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive initiatives to successful outcomes.
    Entrepreneurial spirit and passion for innovation, with a commitment to driving positive impact through corporate development initiatives.

    Location:
    Los Angeles (Santa Monica Airport) or Silicon Valley (San Carlos Airport)
