    Description

    Join our client in the as a new Sales Executive.

    This role can work remotely in the US and is a direct placement opportunity.

    For consideration you'll need to excel at creating and closing new opportunities in freight/shipping industry.

    By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities for new customers.

    Responsibilities:

    Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:

    • Identify and prospect potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking events, and industry conferences.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations.
    • Conduct effective sales presentations and negotiations to secure new business and contracts.

    Revenue Growth and Performance Tracking:

    • Develop and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics to track progress against goals.
    • Implement pricing strategies and promotional activities to maximize revenue and profitability.
    • Regularly report on sales activities, pipeline development, and market trends to senior management.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
    • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably within the transportation or logistics industry.
    • In-depth knowledge of LTL and FTL transportation services, including pricing structures, regulations, and industry best practices.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
    • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities, with a results-driven mindset.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Willingness to travel as needed.
