Account Management & Growth:

Organize budtender gifting and provide food for retail staff to foster strong relationships.
Evaluate and enhance in-store presence, including setting up eye-catching retailer displays.
Lead in-store education sessions for retail staff, increasing product knowledge and advocacy.
Engage in meals and entertainment activities to build personal relationships with key buyers and stakeholders.
Implement cross-selling strategies to encourage the purchase of multiple brands and product lines.
Execute upselling techniques, utilizing discounts and incentives to secure higher value orders.
Territory Management:
Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base within the assigned territory.
Direct Sales:
Engage in direct sales activities, including product pitching and sampling to potential retail accounts, to secure new business.
Customer Relationships:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, understanding their needs and proposing solutions that meet these needs.
Feedback Collection:
Gather customer feedback and market intelligence, and relay this information to the product development team for continuous product improvement.
Sales Forecasting:
Accurately forecast sales predictions and ensure they align with business goals.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted strategies for the territory, including trade shows, promotional events, and other marketing activities.
Retail Partnership Development:
Identify, develop, and nurture relationships with new and existing retail partners to expand market reach and sales volumes.
Sales Strategy Implementation:
Execute sales strategies that align with company goals, including promotional campaigns, cross-selling, and upselling to maximize revenue.
Market Analysis:
Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for growth within the retail sector.
Product Training and Support:
Provide comprehensive product training and ongoing support to retail staff, ensuring they are equipped to sell effectively.
Performance Tracking:
Monitor and report on the performance of retail accounts, utilizing data to drive decision-making and strategy adjustments.
Requirements
Requirements:
Must live in NY state and have a working vehicle.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven track record as a Regional Sales Manager or in a similar sales leadership role, with a focus on account management and growth.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key business partners and customers.
Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
