- Retirement Plan Administration
- 401k daily administration
- Work with outside counsel to update retirement plan documents as needed
- Oversight and review of 401k funding
- Monthly Pension funding
- Health/Welfare Administration
- Counsel employees on health plans and administer benefits for them.
- Respond to employee requests i.e. supplemental life insurance, domestic partner cost mockups/imputed income
- Initial point of contact for employee ergonomic requests
- Workers' Comp administration - collect incident information from employee, file claims with carrier
- Administration of HC FSA, DC FSA, and commuter benefit programs
- Semi-monthly WageWorks HC/DC deduction changes to p/r
- Benefits Enrollment/Changes/Term Process
- process monthly employee term entries in PeopleSoft, create census file for upload to COBRA vendor, and process COBRA qualifying events at Conexus
- Liaison with consultants, actuaries, and providers for all plans: health, welfare, and retirement plans
- Counsel employees re benefit programs and issues
- Assist & sit in on annual employee benefits renewal meetings & calls
- Oversee weekly Empire claim funding
- PeopleSoft Benefits Administration
- Maintain all aspects of benefits in PeopleSoft - tables, modules, processing
- Create, and Test PeopleSoft 'Benefits Tickets'
- Ongoing COBRA Administration
- Attend weekly/ongoing Benefits Vendor calls as needed/requested
- Assist team with overall Annual Open Enrollment Process - Prepare PeopleSoft Ben Admin system for Self Service, create pdf documents, test system
- Benefit Plan testing/reporting/audit
- WageWorks, & 401k Non-Discrimination Testing: Compile, prepare, and audit data from payroll, and prepare questionnaires
- Compile and prepare data for Annual Compliance Reporting: W-2 Value of Coverage data Management of Retirement Plan Audits - Annual Deloitte, Internal, and IRS
- Prepare annual pension plan valuation
- Pension annual funding notices to employees - compile/audit data, review notice, send email/mailing
- Prepare HRIS data for 5500 Benefit Plan Questionnaires, and complete questionnaires
- Manage and complete OSHA annual survey of occupational injuries and illnesses reporting
- Administration of ADP - ACA processes
- Provide monthly MetLife dental COBRA counts to payroll
- Benefits Accounting / Deposits
- Annual accounting GL reconciliation of health care FSA, and dependent care FSA by business unit. Upon completion, process annual prefunding-refund
- Employee Wellness
- Assist team with Wellness Events as needed throughout the year
- Assist with annual Flu Shot Program - discussions, conference calls, setup, testing, etc.
