As a Senior Associate at New York Life Investments, I apply my expertise in portfolio management, trading, and operations to support the Multi-Asset Solutions team. I have over three years of experience in the asset management industry, where I have developed strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

I assist in preparing attribution reports, monitoring portfolio positioning, improving the technology infrastructure, and creating monthly portfolio construction using a multi-factor optimizer. I also manage daily trade files, reconciliation processes, compliance checklists, and presentation materials. I am passionate about learning new skills and techniques to enhance my performance and contribute to the firm's success. I have passed CFA Level II and pursuing  a master's degree in Financial Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology. I am also bilingual in English and Arabic.

I possesse extensive financial expertise, currently serving as a Senior Operations Analyst at New York Life Investments since March 2022. In this role, I oversee data accuracy, project management, and execution within the operational and trading domain. My responsibilities include preparing attribution reports, monitoring portfolio positioning, and enhancing technology infrastructure through the automation of day-to-day operations processes. Proficient in Python, VBA, and MATLAB, I conduct real-time monitoring of operational and trading activities, utilizing tools like Bloomberg EMSX and MATLAB to maintain operational integrity. Prior to this, I worked as a Trading and Operations Analyst at New York Life Investments from April 2020 to March 2022, contributing significantly to daily reconciliation processes and derivative position management. My multifaceted experience also includes a successful decade-long venture as a Small Business Owner/Manager of Solie for Casual Wear.

I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Financial Engineering, expected to be completed in December 2025, from Stevens Institute of Technology. My Bachelor's degree, completed in December 2019 at Baruch College - City University of New York (CUNY), is in Actuarial Science with a minor in Economics, achieving a notable GPA of 3.9. Additionally, I have passed both CFA Level 1 in November 2021 and CFA Level 2 in August 2023. I have also successfully completed Exam P (Jan 2020) and Exam FM (Aug 2019) from the Society of Actuaries. These academic and professional achievements underscore my commitment to financial expertise and continuous learning.
