Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, this individual is responsible for managing HR information systems (HRIS), ensuring accurate payroll processing, administering employee benefits programs, maintaining HR compliance, communicating policy changes, and working closely with finance teams on budget management.
The HR and Payroll Manager must have a deep understanding of payroll processes and HR regulations, excel in communication and collaboration, and lead performance management activities.
- Manage and oversee HR information systems (HRIS) including data entry, system updates, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing.
- Handle leave requests and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Support the implementation and management of performance evaluation processes.
- Monitor performance metrics for opportunities and improvements.
- Stay informed on HR laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Update HR policies in line with legal requirements and best practices.
- Respond to HR inquiries promptly and accurately.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of HR management experience, focusing on HRIS, payroll, benefits administration, and performance management.
- Familiarity with HR laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, FLSA, ADA).
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and payroll software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
