Overview:


The Director of Total Rewards & HR Operations leads the management & administration of all HR programs including, but not limited to payroll, compensation, benefits, budgeting, HR analytics & reporting for the North America region.

He/she will ensure that all programs and practices are competitive, sustainable, scalable in support of the long & short-term HR & people strategy for OTB.

He/she will manage internal customers, external vendor relations, establish and update policy and procedures, and ensure the company adheres to all regulatory compliance.

This role will be critical in elevating the HR service and support levels for the growing and evolving portfolio of brands within the region.

This individual will report to the VP, HR, Americas.


Responsibilities:


  • Oversees the day today functions, communication, and administrative facets of all HR programs for the North America portfolio of brands (~500 employees; 6 brands; 2 countries) including, but not limited to payroll, compensation, benefits& wellness, HR budgeting, HR analytics & reporting
  • Manages the day to day operations of group benefits programs for US & Canada (group health, dental, vision, shortterm and longterm disability, worker's compensation. Life insurance, travel and accident plan, flexible spending plan, retirement plans etc.)
  • Continually investigate new benefits and wellness programs, improves existing offerings in support of employee experience, and assess cost impact and ROI to the company
  • Develops methods and procedures for compiling and analyzing data for reports and special projects
  • Leads and collaborates on the administration of the Annual Salary Review/ MBO / promotion process; provides guidance and consultation on compensation strategies and develops programs to comply with new and existing compensation related regulations and pay equity
  • Conducts research and analysis on organizational trends including review of reports and KPI metrics from the organizations HRIS system
  • Monitors and ensures the organizations compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance
  • Lead the Project Management process with cross functional partners (HRBP's, Finance, Store Operations) and with HQ in Italy to encompass diverse agendas on HR deliverables for ad hoc compensation, performance management and workforce management projects
  • Assist in developing strategies and integration roadmaps for programs, processes, and infrastructure across a variety of projects
  • Manages Payroll and Benefits team

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in business or human resources (Master's a plus)
  • 10+ years' experience in HR Operations and/or Total Rewards (experience in Finance and/or in luxury retail a plus); payroll experience also a plus
  • 3+ years in Leadership or Management position
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills; excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Financial acumen to develop and implement departmental budget
  • Proven success as an influencer and as a change agent
  • An out of the box thinker with excellent project management and influencing skills
  • Results driven with the ability to make decisions promptly and with confidence
  • Excellent interpersonal, speaking and written communication skills
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, HRIS systems (Success Factors a plus)
  • Experience coaching managers and employees on employee relations and performance management issues
  • Flexibility to adapt and grow within an evolving organization and HR structure
  • Strong time management and follow through skills
  • High proficiency in HRIS & Compensation planning tools/ platforms

Salary Range:
$140-150K
