    Overview:

    This 20-year-old independent agency has been chosen as a top NYC ad shop for the past 7 years. It has roots which stem way back, and an energy and cohesiveness that evolved from the founding partners and directors who crafted their careers years ago when they worked together at leading worldwide firms. Today, as a top NYC ad agency, they create brands, plan their course, and migrate them through marketing transformation, using insights and marketing technology to create compelling campaigns and build engaging user experiences. They are experts in ensuring that audiences are engaged at the right time, in impactful places, and with the right content to act. Not only are they a successful, creative shop that gets results, but they are also a dynamic, driven, inspirational group of professionals who love what they do. They are looking for a Senior Project Manager who loves what they do, too, and will bring an infectious attitude to work each day.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage the full life cycle of digital and creative projects, working cross-functionally with diverse technical, creative, and media teams to lead the planning, estimation, and delivery of client projects and programs.
    • Working with internal partners, create and manage timelines to ensure the agency has the time required to have successful client meetings.
    • Ensure that they consistently execute on time, on budget, and flawlessly.
    • Work directly with clients on timelines and receive and manage client comments.
    • Set and manage expectations internally and with clients for creative campaigns and projects, primarily, but not limited to, digital for healthcare, insurance, retirement, banking, associations, and/or sports and entertainment clients.
    • Lead the internal process to successfully deliver campaign executions on time and on budget — flawlessly and painlessly.
    • Create timelines and obtain buy-in from internal and external team members.
    • Oversee each step of the process to ensure deliverables are completed within deadlines and that all internal stakeholders have reviewed and approved everything.
    • Receive client comments, and ensure they are understood and can be addressed by the agency person responsible.
    • Solve problems and proactively adjust timelines accordingly.
    • Understand client expectations and know when and where the agency can or cannot buy time.
    • Confidently navigate and prioritize business needs, resource management, schedules, and financials.
    • Ensure team members know how much time they have to complete an assignment, review time spent against time allotted, and ensure there is enough time remaining.
    • With internal team, ensure all projects' out-of-pocket estimates are created and clientapproved prior to costs incurred.
    • Track time and costs against budget to ensure the agency does not overspend. Proactively raise a flag to the team leader if time is running out.
    • Act as liaison between Media and Account teams on collaboration of assets.
    • Assist in development and management of trafficking sheet.

    Requirements:

    • Willing and able to work on-site in Manhattan 3 days per week (Tuesday – Thursday) and remotely Monday and Friday.
    • 5+ years of experience managing digital and creative projects in an advertising, marketing, and/or communications agency (3+ years of experience in an ad shop).
    • Deep understanding of digital specs and production.
    • Excited to be part of a team, committed to doing whatever it takes to get the job done.
    • Experience using Project Management tools such as Workfront, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Office.
    • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with all levels of the organization to achieve broader insights into managing work streams and outcomes.
    • Have full lifecycle experience from scoping through delivery.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, committed to seeing the big picture and foster an environment of shared accountability.
    • Ability to navigate strong collaboration between people, processes, and systems.
    • Comfortable leading a team, participating in client meetings, and tailoring communications based on audience and level.

    Compensation & Benefits:

    • The approximate annual base salary range for this position is $115,000 - $125,000, depending upon the qualifications of the individual candidate, and level/years of relevant experience.
