Our client is seeking a highly skilled and dependable individual to join their team as an
IT Project Manager that will serve the entire organization.
Reporting to the Director of Applications, this is a non-exempt, full-time position located at their NYC headquarters. They offer competitive salary and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates production releases and rollouts, delegating tasks to necessary employees and presenting on projects' progress and results.
- Organizes meeting to discuss project goals and progress, project related budgeting/expenses and status reports.
- Hands off projects to business units upon project completion.
- Handles requirements gathering prior to project acceptance, these include the following:
- Vendor Qualifications Forms & Documents (eg. RPF).
- Third Party Risk Questionnaires (if applicable).
- Coordinate presales technical review call.
- Business Requirements Document for Technology Steering Committee.
- Manages and participates in multiple concurrent projects.
- Responsible for reporting project status to executive staff and leadership via reports or dashboards.
- Documents instructions for endusers and assist with testing phases of the project.
- Coordinates change requests and adjustment needed during the project.
- Conducts postproject evaluations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and/or Computer Information Systems (or related degree) and 45 years of relevant work experience as a project manager, business analyst, project coordinator and/or other IT management positions.
- Advanced computer skill and indepth knowledge of different operating systems, network administration and service desk administration.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with team members and management and explain technical issues.
- Ability to manage a team of employees and vendor/partners, develop a project scheduling and define individual responsibilities within the project.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to keep projects on track and within budget and to hold resources accountable for their deliverables.
- Excellent resource planning and task scheduling skills.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills to handle any issues that occur during the lifecycle of the project.
- Excellent judgment and creative issueresolution skills, including conflict resolution.
- Ability to appropriately handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Selfstarter and team player able to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Understanding of software development life cycle.
- Thorough understanding of project management fundamentals (Project Management Professional
- PMP certification preferred).
- Thorough, accurate, detailorientated, and conscientious about assignments.
- Positive attitude, energetic, and interested in working in health care.
Special Considerations:
Pay:
$118, $130,000.00 per year
