Our Mission, Vision, and Values guide the way we do business.Are you ready for your next career challenge? The Defense Group at Leidos is currently seeking a Logistics Management Analyst for the GSMO program supporting the Defense Information Systems Agency.
While this role is telework friendly one must live within commuting distance to Fort Meade, MD for on-site support. This position is about 75% remote.Primary Responsibilities
Works independently to perform analysis of warehouse operations to identify logistics issues associated with warehouse activities or processes.
Take primary responsibility as lead for all process improvement activities with warehouse staff and Process Improvement Team to perform root cause analysis, identify process improvements, brief leadership and stakeholders on proposed actions and implement actions when approved.
Duties may also include updating Defense Priorities and Allocation System (DPAS), coordinating efforts with Node Site Coordinators (NSC) for shipping and receiving of assets, updating the Implementation Information Exchange (IIEx) database and supporting the Process Improvement Team with developing processes and procedures.
The Logistics Management Analyst is responsible for supporting logistics efforts such as supportability, availability, and sustainment engineering deliverables such as ad hoc reports and CDRL's for the GSMO Program which include maintaining the health of the following programs/reports.
Sustainment EngineeringAvailability Metrics, Operational Availability (Ao), inventory accuracy.
Reliability Metrics:
Logistics Response Time, Turn-around time.
Providing recommendations for completing inventory lists to accurately account for installed equipment.
Other duties may include:
Work with DISA Property Management staff to correct inventory deficiencies.
Provide Logistics status inputs for weekly TN06 property related meetings.
Be responsible for ensuring all completion reports are accounted for.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4+ years of experience with Logistics or Product Support Management, or Master's degree and two (2) years of experience; additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience supporting a team to solve problems that are unclear and require a thorough understanding of program requirements and resources.
Strong understanding of performance-based logistics metrics, reliability, availability, supportability analysis and reporting, provisioning, and sustainment engineering reports.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Must maintain a Secret Clearance.
Must be a US Citizen.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $59, $106,925.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
