Description

Duties:


  • Coordinate daily activities with Senior Management Analysts and peers, ensuring compliance with all policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify potential opportunities for improvement in routine business processes to Senior Management Analysts.
  • Participate in major staff studies and incorporates operational plans and policies in analysis.
  • Coordinate complex analytical and quantitative analysis, formulates findings across broad areas, resolves areas of contention.
  • Plan work to accomplish, implements policy and procedures, and tracks priorities.

Requirements:


Conditions of Employment:


  • Temporary Duty (TDY) business travel (Continental United States) CONUS and Overseas CONUS) may be required up to 50 percent of the time. Incumbent must meet Combatant Command deployment requirements, when necessary.
  • Position may require deployment to provide documentation support to the Combatant Commands. As such, on a temporary basis, hazardous duty travel may be required.
  • If deployed, incumbent must meet physical, medical, and training readiness requirements, wear personal protective clothing and equipment.
  • May be required to work overtime or compensatory time.
  • Must be eligible for, receive, and retain a TOP SECRET/Single Scope Background Investigation (TS/SSBI) with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.

  • Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: utilizes quantitative and qualitative methods and techniques to develop manpower documentation standards and complex program functions OR utilizes public laws, statutes, regulations, and/or policies to establish appropriation, control and use of manpower and funds. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS12).
  • Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience aloneno substitution of education for experience is permitted.

  • Position is covered by the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program. Incumbent is required to sign a DA Form 5019R (Condition of Employment for Certain Positions Identified as Critical Under the Drug Abuse Testing Program) and must pass urinalysis testing prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
