    ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST

    Overview of the Accounts Payable Specialist Role:

    • Process high volume invoices against subcontracts, purchase orders, and overhead invoices.
    • Reconcile statements, some of which may be 10+ pages long.
    • Assist with email communications and accurately enter invoices into the system.
    • Conduct research to resolve discrepancies in invoices and statements.
    • Collaborate with subcontractors and contractors to ensure timely processing.
    • Follow up with contractors regarding outstanding invoices and payment statuses.

    Preferred qualifications of the Accounts Payable Specialist:

    • Prior experience with full-cycle Accounts Payable
    • Experience in construction industry a huge plus
    • Tax knowledge is beneficial.
    • Prior experience in subcontract or construction accounting is preferred.
    • This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
