- Review and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and appropriate approval.
- Process vendor invoices and expense reports in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Correspond with vendors and internal stakeholders to address inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Prepare and process electronic payments, including ACH transfers and checks.
- Assist with month-end close processes, including accruals and account reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records and documentation.
- Assist with ad hoc projects and initiatives as needed to support the finance team.
- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or related finance role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job DescriptionLHH is looking for a temporary to hire Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounts payable processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The main tasks for the AP Specialist will be processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end close activities. You will work closely with the accounting team and be trained by the Controller. This role is fully onsite in south Seattle, WA.Key Responsibilities:
