    Position Summary:

    As the Community Outreach Coordinator, you will serve as an advocate and liaison to the optometric and primary care referring provider network to promote high quality coordinated care.

    Prior healthcare experience is highly preferred, especially in the Ophthalmology field.

    You should be able to communicate professionally, be comfortable working in a medical environment, be highly organized, have a strong customer service background, possess excellent computer and organizational skills, and embody a welcoming/friendly demeanor.

    There is a considerable amount of travel required within your assigned territory.


    Job Duties & Essential Functions:
    Build strong provider relationships within an assigned territoryMaintain protocols for visiting established and new referring providers according to practice guidelinesAssist in the coordination of continuing education functions, events for the community network, and community eventsProvide ongoing educational support to community providers in all areas of services and specialties provided by SightMD within compliance guidelinesCoordinate and engage in business development eventsMaintain a robust database with pertinent information of all community providersAct as liaison between the community and SightMD with the ability to problem solve any issues that may ariseRequired to report into Long Island office once a month to touch base

    Required Qualifications:
    Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience requiredStrong organizational, communication, presentation, written, verbal, and listening skillsAbility to work a flexible scheduleAbove average customer service skillsProficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite productsMust hold valid Driver's LicenseReliable transportationBilingual in English and Mandarin / Korean

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Bilingual in Korean / MandarinPrior experience with inside/outside sales within the medical industry highly desired

    Work Schedule:
    Traveling Field work for all boroughs in NYC

    Hourly Pay Rate:
    $ $31.
