A leading pharmacy provider to the long-term care community is currently seeking a
_Pharmacy Outreach Coordinator_

SpecialtyRx, a full-service pharmacy, partnering with sub-acute and long-term care facilities.


Reporting to the Director of Client Services, the Pharmacy Outreach Coordinator is a key member of SpecialtyRx, the client services department.

Must be able to function in a highly visible, strong team environment to provide exceptional sales, and customer service, a high degree of professionalism, a strong work ethic, and the ability to maintain a positive attitude when dealing with customers.


Responsibilities:


  • Effectively communicate the benefits of pharmacy services to potential clients and partners.
  • Develop a strategy to target and engage assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and longterm care facilities to promote pharmacy services and establish partnerships.
  • Work closely with internal pharmacy teams, including pharmacists, technicians, and administrative staff, to coordinate service delivery and address client needs effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, guidelines, and policies governing pharmacy operations and outreach activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, client interactions, and partnership agreements.

Skills:


  • Degree in Pharmacy, healthcare administration, marketing, or healthrelated field (preferred)
  • Previous experience in sales, marketing, or outreach roles, preferably in a healthcare or pharmacy setting.
  • Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) is strongly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively convey information to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to be conscientious, efficient, and accurate in handling large amounts of information via spreadsheet or database.
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and resultsoriented approach.
  • Willingness to travel extensively locally and to other states to meet with clients.
