    Our Enterprise Programs team is expanding how we sell at ezCater and we're looking for a savvy, scrappy sales professional to be the first (literal) feet on the street in our Field Sales progam.

    You'll assume quota ownership of the intersection of your metropolitan area and a focus industry to launch holistic food at work programs for their teams.

    You'll not only have the opportunity to grow your book of business as you build relationships with stakeholders, but you'll be a key contributor to shaping our field sales motion for the future.

    What You'll Do

    Identify, prospect, discover, and close new business.

    You will own a named territory at the intersection of a metro and a focus industry and will be responsible for the full sales cycle in partnership through account graduation to our Retention team.

    Execute a consultative approach that leads to growth & referrals.

    You'll confidently maneuver through your accounts, identifying key stakeholders and areas to expand & strengthen the relationship through performance, retention, and growth.

    Know your domain. You'll learn the in's and out's of your target market and metro.

    Every city has a local flavor, especially when it comes to food so you'll spend a lot of time out and about meeting with people to know the lay of the land.

    Build and execute success plans. You'll clearly communicate and define business outcomes with identified objectives, stakeholders, milestones, risks, and metrics needed to achieve them.

    Optimize adoption across your book:

    You'll develop a strong understanding of your clients including their business drivers & strategies, specifically around how they can use Food for Work to drive their initiatives.

    Leverage team selling to grow the business and customer adoption. Whether it's with across our acquisition or retention orgs, teams at ezCater work together to accomplish goals.

    You'll play well in the sandbox and partner with your colleagues to identify the best way to get to success together.

    Create product & partnership champions.

    You'll drive so much value that your partners are screaming our name from the rooftops They'll bring their customers to us and vice versa.

    Rely on data to identify and solve problems: You'll use all quantitative and qualitative data at your disposal to rank priorities, proactively solve problems before they exist, and share data with customers & internal stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.

    Communicate effectively with our internal teams.

    Customer obsession is a team sport and you'll work alongside some of the best in the business to execute your mission.

    You Will Be Directly Responsible For


    Delivering quota via the acquisition & growth of corporate accounts and high value customers within your assigned territory (geographic & industry).

    Prospecting leads within your territory and partnering with marketing & leadership to execute opportunity generation.
    Relaying feedback and insights to leadership & other stakeholders.
    Being on the road visiting clients a majority of the time.

    What You Have

    5+ years in a customer facing role, ideally in account management, customer success, or business development.
    2+ years in an outside sales or field sales role.
    1+ year in a role supporting or selling to large, enterprise customers.
    Innate emotional intelligence, empathy, and negotiation skills (you build trust quickly and maintain it easily).
    A scrappiness and grittiness about you that is comfortable in navigating within ambiguity.

    An entrepreneurial, self-starter attitude; you're ready to hit the ground running in a developing role on a team that's new to ezCater.

    The ability to prioritize, balance, and delegate tasks appropriately.
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
    Located in the Chicago Metropolitan area and are able to go on-site to customers.


    The national on-target earnings (base salary + commission) cash compensation range for this role is $120,000 - $140,000 per year.

    Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise and region & may vary from the amount above.

    This range does not represent additional compensation benefits (such as equity, 401K or medical, dental or vision insurance).
