    Description

    Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team Renewable Energy Division in the Houston area. This role requires some travel up to 30% of the year. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of business development experience in renewable energy projects related field and experience with financial analysis and modeling for renewable energy projects.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 5+ years of experience in business development in renewable energy projects
    • Bachelors degree required
    • Experience with project financial analysis and modeling
    • Must have a valid drivers license
    • Ability to travel up to 30% of the year

    JOB DUTIES:

    • Identify prospective renewable energy projects that possess suitable electric transmission access and site characteristics.
    • Maintain relationships with market participants including developers and IPPs
    • Conduct financial analysis for projects
    • Conduct financial modeling for projects
    • Responsible for project pipeline and progress reports regarding projects
    • Coordinate with contractors, financial advisors and consultants as needed for company projects
