- Familiarity with housing regulations is a plus.
- Communicate with clients by telephone, email or in person to provide information about services available or to handle any concerns.
- Screen client inquiries for eligibility.
- Check to ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve client concerns:
- Re-certifications/Lease-ups
- Annual and interim income adjustments
- Changes in family composition/Change of address
- Move-outs/Transfers/Inspections
- Maintaining client caseload as well as appropriate documentation ensuring compliance with program regulations.
- Explain program requirements, regulations and procedures to applicants, participants and owners.

As part of the Rental Assistance team, the Housing Representative - Program Representative provides information and assistance to rental assistance program participants with regards to eligibility and program requirements.
