    SUMMARY OF POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITY:
    This position will be focused on invoice processing, collections, and reviewing reports for discrepancies and errors. The ideal candidate will have a service-focused approach with internal and external customers, and a continuous improvement mindset.

    Essential Functions:
    Responsible for full-cycle Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, cash receipts, credit, collections, lien filing, and progressive billing and payment applications
    Process manual invoices in a timely manner, reviewing for accuracy and completeness
    Collections, including reviewing aging reports for past due invoices and following up with reminders to clients
    Analyze billing discrepancies and interact directly with our customers and internal departments to resolve A/R issues
    Collaborate with the AR Manager and accounting team to ensure a smooth transition of work from field locations to corporate office
    Assist with development of documented procedures and workflows within the department
    Perform ad hoc accounting duties as needed

    QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR TRAINING):


    Required Education:
    High School Diploma or GED required


    Preferred Education:
    Some college experience or bachelor's degree preferred


    Required Experience:
    Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and intermediate Excel (v-lookups and pivot tables required)


    Preferred Experience:
    Construction or builder experience preferred, specifically, working with ERP's
    Experience in the construction industry is strongly preferred

    ABILITY AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
    Demonstrated ability to efficiently multitask between competing priorities
    Detail oriented, with demonstrated experience in tasks requiring accuracy and diligence
    Professional communication skills, including verbal and written correspondence
    Knowledge of Hyphen BRIX, Hyphen Wallet, Hyphen SupplyPro and Paymode-X preferred


    Work Environment:
    This position will be performed in an office environment


    Physical Demands:
    There will be little to no physical demands expected of this position

    Travel Required:
    There will be little to no travel required for this position beyond commuting to the office.
