    Title : Accounts Receivable Specialist
    Location : Tuesday - Thursday Onsite in Dallas, TX
    Duration : Long Term Contract
    Pay range : $25 to $30/hr on W2

    Clears accounts receivables related to all payment platforms in SAP daily. Works closely with the Customer Happiness Team to resolve chargebacks, returns, refunds, and credits related to vouchers not applied correctly. Keeps management informed of trends or new issues that may arise due to IT system issues so that they can be escalated as needed.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities
    • Responsible for A/R clearing in SAP by Design daily.
    • Download A/R activity from Shopify, Bread, Stripe, Paypal, OTT Pay, Paybright/ Affirm
    • Must maintain AR clearing file in Excel and have intermediate knowledge in Excel i.e., vlookups, pivot tables, ect.
    • Process Returns
    • Responsible for A/R billing including intercompany shared charges.
    • Credit memo creation and clearing.
    • Dispute management.
    • Process manual refunds.
    • Process trade in credits.
    • Account reconciliations for AR related accounts.
    Candidate Profile
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Must be highly proficient in Excel formula and functions (v-Lookups, Pivot Tables, trouble-shooting formula issues, data manipulation and data cleansing)
    • Education: Bachelor's Degree - Accounting, Understanding of Accounting (Debits/Credits)
    • Experience: 2-3 years of bookkeeping or experience working in an Accounting/Finance department
    • Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope and prioritize business requirements
    • Ability to understand the accounting process and GL Codes associated with AR to effectively reconcile and clear current and past issues
    • Comfortable in identifying and acting on priorities in a fast-paced and sometimes unstructured work environment
    • Takes initiative to communicate with, and understand the needs of, others outside of the department
    • Willing to provide open and honest feedback with the aim to improve organizational processes
    • Experience with SAP and Shopify a plus
    LIFTING / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
    • Lifting: Medium work, exerting up to 30 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
    • Physical: Able to Stand or Sit; Walk; Stoop, Kneel, Crouch, or Crawl; Talk/Hear; See; Repetitive Motion (e.g., typing)
    Additional information
    • Position Type: based out of our corporate office in Dallas, TX
    • Expected Hours of Work: Some flexibility in hours is allowed but must be available during the "core" work hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some overtime may be required during month end close.
    • Supervisory responsibilities: no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department as well as our Independent Consultants
    • Some travel may be required.
    Pay Range: $25 - $30

    The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. Our full-time consultants have access to benefits including medical, dental, vision and 401K contributions as well as any other PTO, sick leave, and other benefits mandated by appliable state or localities where you reside or work.
