Description

Marcum Search has been engaged by a NYC Non-Profit organization seeking an additional Grant Accountant to join their expanding team. It is a large, busy, growing organization with great talent. The position would have a 50/50 hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities

Analyze contract spending/rewards/budgets as per proposal.

Reconcile and vouch grants

Assist with identifying cross funding opportunities

Prepare required Grant financial reports

Assist with budget development.

Requirements

Must have a bachelors or masters degree in accounting

Certified Public Accountant designation (or candidate) is a plus

A minimum of five years of Grant Accounting experience

5+ years of Nonprofit Industry experience

Excellent Excel skills; MIP experience is a plus.

*** Salary for this position is according to Union Regulations and ranges from $75k-$110K, based on years of relevant experience. ***
