- Collaborate with the Director of Grants and Budgets to monitor financial reporting and internal control systems.
- Coordinate support and responses to funder audits and fiscal reviews with outside auditors and reviewers.
- Prepare documentation for annual independent and single audits under the direction of the Director of Grants and Budgets.
- Prepare and submit vouchers for payments to federal, state, and city agencies.
- Support the grants administration process and ensure key grant requirements are met.
- Assist with contract registration, budget modifications, amendments, and close-outs to ensure superior contract administration.
- Coordinate with the Staff Accountant in preparing financial documentation, including budgets, budget modifications, and the annual Consolidated Fiscal Report (CFR).
- Provide support for payroll reporting functions within the Finance Department.
- Collect and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual reports in an organized manner.
- Oversee staff salary allocation process and assist programs with employee allocation changes.
- Provide quality assurance for program stipend and incentive programs by reviewing documents for accuracy before payment processing.
- Assist program and division directors with budget and expense analysis and forecasting.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3+ years of experience in fiscal management, with a focus on non-profit accounting.
- Demonstrated ability to gather, interpret, and use data to create reports.
- Strong spreadsheet skills, including advanced use of pivot tables.
