    Description

    Director of National Sales Job Description:

    Masis Professional Group has an immediate need for a Director of National Sales for a very well-established tire manufacturing firm in the Columbus, Ohio area on a full-time direct hire basis.

    This position will travel up to 40% to all US sales territories, various customer locations, and tradeshows.

    Director of National Sales Responsibilities:
    Manage and oversee the sales operations, territories, and regional sales managers within the division.
    Designing plans to meet targets, developing relationships with customers, and evaluating costs for selling products and services.

    Effectively communicate value propositions through proposals, understand category-specific trends, report on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts, and develop key growth action plans.

    Act as a company representative at trade association meetings, consulting with potential customers, and successfully growing territories and sales targets.

    Drafting and implementing performance standards and conducting performance reviews.
    Reports to the Vice President, maintaining open communication and disclosure of the conditions, operations, and needs of the organization
    Drafts, presents, and recommends organizational policies and programs to executive leadership
    Oversees preparation of the annual budget for their division
    Facilitates periodic audits and compliance activities for the organization
    Supports and directs public relations activities to build and maintain relationships with other organizations and the public
    Responsible for the training, development, and performance of team members

    Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree in related field is required
    Master's degree in related field is highly preferred
    At least three to five years of sales or business administration and/or experience related to the organization's industry required, with supervisory and leadership experience preferred
