    Envalior is currently in search of a Key Account Manager to achieve set sales targets, leverage new technologies for growth through agreed-upon development projects within their segment/region as outlined in their segment plan.

    Purpose of the position

    • Harness significant growth in the customer base within the Auto Segment
    • Enhance current sales for assigned customers with a specific focus on Korean and Japanese OEMs
    • Rapidly expand the market for Envalior's EP compound products in NAFTA to maximize production capacities in the US
    • Drive forward the Americas business development for selected Global Key Accounts (as assigned) in close coordination with EMEA and APAC
    • Key Performance Indicators: Sales volume, Average Selling Price/GM, number and volume of projects acquired per year

    Main Responsibilities

    • Key account, sales, and program management for major strategic automotive accounts and other designated accounts. Strategic key account management for Tier 1 and Tier 2 (system integrators) in automotive under-the-hood and structural applications, acting as a liaison to automotive OEMs for approvals and program management.
    • Regional contributions to Global Key Account Management for U.S. based Far East Automotive OEMs regarding approvals, project acquisition, and program management.
    • Identify potential new accounts and applications, assessing and prioritizing sales leads.

    General Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement strategies for specifying and approving materials at OEMs, with a focus on strategic key accounts at Tier 1 and 2 levels.
    • Execute Sales and Market development plans to enhance business in profitable areas.
    • Source new accounts and applications, evaluate and prioritize sales prospects.
    • Emphasize value propositions compared to competitors and highlight advantages to secure customer commitment and close sales agreements.
    • Forecast sales, address discrepancies, and attain targeted sales figures
    • Collaborate with and support Korean/Japanese OEM Global Key Account Managers; establish connections with key contacts, comprehend OEM requirements and trends, and relay information internally.
    • Utilize CRM tools for reporting

    Challenges

    • Proactively synchronize with global counterparts on customer strategies, contracts, and pricing
    • Proactively coordinate with Envalior NAFTA counterparts (e.g., product management, SCM, marketing)
    • Directly negotiate prices, rebates, and contracts
    • Maintain effective communication channels with customers
    • Ensure accurate sales call reporting
    • Manage conflict situations efficiently (complaints, de-escalation)

    What we seek in you

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent business-related experience is a prerequisite
    • A minimum of 10 years' experience in manufacturing sales/account management is essential
    • Demonstrated proficiency in customer engagement
    • Possess a proactive, go-getter attitude
    • Excellent business acumen
    • Desire to challenge conventional norms
    • Thorough understanding of engineering plastics customers, products, and/or applications is advantageous
    • Expertise in plastics within the automotive industry is a bonus
    • Blend of commercial and technical expertise, skills, and experience
    • Familiarity with CRM systems is beneficial
    • Outstanding communication abilities
    • Strong team-building and collaborative skills, showcasing remarkable relationship building, negotiation, and influencing capabilities
