    Description

    We are looking for an Account Manager to join our team at PPG! As an Account Manager, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with customers to increase our market share. You'll collaborate with various teams within PPG to address customer needs effectively. This position offers the flexibility of remote work and will primarily focus on customers in Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin under the supervision of a Sales Director.



    Key Responsibilities:
    • Manage a portfolio of customer accounts on a daily basis.
    • Collaborate with regional teams to drive sales growth and develop compelling value propositions for PPG products and services.
    • Secure approvals for product specifications and coordinate support from different departments to enhance service quality and promote growth.
    • Implement pricing strategies that reflect the value PPG offers, ultimately increasing profitability.
    • Build strong relationships with customers, represent PPG favorably, and stay informed about customer values and market competition.

    Qualifications:
    • Must have a Bachelor's Degree in business or engineering.
    • At least 5 years of sales experience.
    • Background in coatings technology is preferred.
    • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region, exceeding 50% of working time.
