    Desktop Engineer
    Anywhere USA
    6 months contract-to-hire
    Pay Range: $50-55/hour

    Job Description:
    The Desktop Engineering team supports the daily operations of the organization such as conditional access for all platforms, VPN, patch management, software management, OS image management, configuration profile for all platforms, security baselines, application protection policies and remediation process for vulnerability management etc.
    The Desktop Engineering team also provides tier 3 technology support and trains the system administrator group on any new technologies we deploy. Supports business SDLC life cycle project initiatives and the PMO to ensure deliverables are met under budget and on a timely basis.

    Technical Skills & Knowledge:

    • Windows 10/11, iOS, Android, macOS
    • Microsoft Office Suite
    • Familiar with Microsoft AD, Azure AD and Intune
    • Understand of networking
    • pplication Packaging
    • Familiar with PatchMyPC for third party software update
    • Patch management for all platforms in Intune
    • Create/manage security baselines for all platforms (Windows, iOS, Android...)
    • Create/manage configuration profiles in Intune
    • Create/manage remediation scripts
    • Windows image creation
    • Conditional access
    • Familiar with PowerShell scripts and Visual Studio Code
    • Familiar with GitHub
    • Familiar with Defender for endpoint/cloud
    • zure virtual desktop
    • Basic knowledge of ITSM

    • Proficiency in logical and analytical skills
    • Verbal and written communication skills
    • Interpersonal and collaborating skills
    Industry/Sector Skills & Knowledge :
    • Healthcare Industry Experience is a plus
