    A Snapshot of Your Day

    The Parts Business Leader (PBL) requires a strong customer focus and entrepreneurial mentality for parts delivery regarding planned and unplanned outages in Region North America. The main objective of the PBL role is to support the RNA Platform Team, Product Lines, and external customers in the management of all parts needed for outages. This role will support outages of gas, steam and generator units

    How You'll Make an Impact

    • Identify parts lists as needed per work scope for assigned outages.
    • Provide response to customer inquiries in preparation for outage planning and ongoing customer parts needs.
    • Process parts order and quotes in SAP PD2 and follows through delivery and invoicing.
    • Work individually or with the District Service Office Platform team to develop proposals supporting customer needs. Resolve customer issues associated with parts related needs.
    • Provide support for developing integrated customer proposals.
    • Perform advanced interpretation of design specs and drawings.
    • Support Product Line financial objectives by applying financial and commercial concepts to quotes and orders.
    • Able to research technical records to provide parts clarification.

    What You Bring

    • BS/BA in related field, Engineering degree preferred.
    • 5+ years of experience in a related field. (Those with more experience may be considered for a 06 S30.)
    • Power Generation experience; Field Service experience a plus. In addition, SAP knowledge is a plus
    • Effective customer service, organizational, time management, decision-making, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong attention to detail, ability to analyze and collaborate efficiently with teams.
    • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

    Gas Services

    Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
