Job Description:

The Human Resources Manager (HRM) is a business partnering role to a remote workforce.

The HRM will provide business leaders consultation and guidance on measures that support talent acquisition, retention, performance, as well as and development goals.

The HRM provides employee relations support to mitigate risk. The HRM provides administrative guidance to managers and associates as it relates to leaves, payroll and HRIS. This role also actively supports HR initiatives, including talent review, engagement surveys, benefit programs, in addition to development opportunities. Our Human Resources team partners with our centralized payroll, benefits, recruiting, HRIS and compensation.


How You'll Shine:


  • Advise, coach, and/or mediate on HRrelated matters with associates and managers. This includes leave administration, compensation, timekeeping, and payroll administration.
  • Interpret, administer, and ensure compliance with all federal and state laws, company policies and procedures.
  • Effectively investigate, document, and provide guidance on corrective action or separation efforts when appropriate. This will include the ability to proficiently conduct formal investigatory efforts for behavior and conduct concerns and in response to employee complaints (i.e., harassment and discrimination cases).
  • Remain current and adhere to practices that will ensure an engaged workforce and compliant practices. Facilitate various leadership and team development sessions. Partner with business leaders to assess and identify high potential talent and provide partnered support and guidance for further development and education on how to fully leverage existing resources or methods.
  • Understand business drivers and provide objective feedback to business leaders on process and initiatives that will drive longterm results.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to ensure the talent management strategy effectively links to evolving business needs while driving associate recruitment, engagement, and retention.
  • Attend various business leadership meetings to ensure goal alignment across departments.
  • Educate leaders and associates on corporate initiatives (i.e., benefit programs, performance management and engagement survey) and support the successful implementation.
  • Participate in project team assignments for the HR organization that support the development and/or implementation of organizationwide policies, procedures and/or programs.

What You'll Bring:

Education

  • Fouryear college degree strongly preferred or equivalent years of work experience
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continue education within Human Resources
Knowledge and Skills

  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment balancing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
  • Keen attention to detail with a commitment to effective follow through
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with emotional and confrontational circumstances.
  • Ability to resolve associate conflicts and offer solutions that strive to create a win/win situation for the associate and the company.
  • Ability to drive strategy and HR initiatives and successfully influencing leaders to action.
  • Passion and ability to deliver effective presentations and facilitate training.
Job Experience

  • 35 years of related Human Resource experience.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws/regulations related to human resources.
  • Experience addressing employee relations concerns and conducting investigation preferred.
  • Experience in supporting multiple business groups and/or multiple locations preferred.
  • Experience in supporting remote preferred.
Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with Workday preferred
