How you will contribute:

The Demand Planning Manager position will have responsibility for both purchased and produced material forecasting, replenishment and management.

This role will ensure material availability using optimum inventory based on best practices to ensure on time availability and delivery to the customer.

This position will work closely with sales and marketing, finance production and scheduling and select vendors to ensure customer service achieves or exceeds determined levels.

As Con-Air transforms and evolves, so will the scope of this role


Responsibilities:


Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Create and manage both long and short term demand plans for all produced and purchased finished goods.
  • Report forecast performance monthly to all Senior managers and Executive leaders.
  • Build relationship with purchased finished goods vendors and communicate material needs based on best practices.
  • Continuously review material for excess or insufficient quantities
  • Manage the slow moving and obsolete items report. Additionally work with production to determine alternate uses for slow and obsolete materials.
  • Attend GEMBA meetings with the production leaders each shift, looking at late, current, and future demand and creating a material plan to meet customer demand while reducing cost Manage the Customer
- act as an interface between the production floor and customer, communicate problems and appropriately deal with customer demand to ensure zero late Continuous improvement
- participate in continuous improvement activities that drive the KPI's


Qualifications:

Qualified Applicants preferred experience:


  • 2+ years of related forecasting experience
  • Knowledge of forecast measurements such as error, MAPE etc.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all crossfunctional partners.
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Ability to problem solve and the ability to multitask are required.
  • Must be able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
Minimum - College Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or Quantitative Science filed of study.
