    Are you ready to travel the United States? We have a Task Force Director, Sales & Events open who will be traveling to in need properties to support them, provide full cycle sales leadership from top line revenue generation, qualifying, negotiating, and closing business for the assigned property, client support, and site visits.

    They will work 10 days on location and then have 4 days off Starting Salary:
    $92K The Task Force Director, Sales & Event will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments for assigned properties:

    Directly supervise all on property Sales and Event Service associates. Associates include, but not limited to; Event Sales Managers, Event Service Managers, and/or Sales Administrative Assistance. Staffing levels vary based on the size, scale, complexity, mix of sales, and revenue levels of the hotel. Perform supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the brand and Atrium Hospitality's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, assisting and directing activities. In the absence of Event Sales, Event Service or Administrative support, complete the duties assigned to these positions.

    Aggressively pursue all appropriate business opportunities within designated DSE assigned accounts or segments including responding to leads, customer solicitation, and relationship building.

    Achieve individual and team productivity goals.
    Plan and execute client site visits, on-site client negotiations and meetings, and pre- and post-con meetings

    Function as a key leader of the Revenue Strategy Team along with the General Manager and Director of Revenue Management, helping to develop the pricing, inventory, and marketing strategies.

    Function as the liaison between the property and the Enterprise Sales Organization, communicating strategies and hotel information, and countersigning all sales contracts.

    Actively engage in the local community as it benefits the hotel, via approved memberships in organizations, charitable activities, and business community events.

    Unless the hotel is part of the shared service marketing department, the DSE is responsible for all hotel marketing, ensuring the content and appearance is current, accurate, and optimally represents the hotel.

    Hotel Marketing includes all print and digital marketing, catering menus, social media posts, online reviews, and all content (text, images and videos) on brand and third-party websites.

    Provide financial leadership of the sales function to include forecast Group and Catering Revenue, participate in annual budget process, prep for and participate in financial reviews at property level and above as well as updating the property Strategic Selling Guidelines.

    Conduct and/or participate in the required company standard meetings, including but not limited to daily Operations stand up meeting, Business Review Meeting, Revenue Strategy Meeting, Credit Meeting, BEO meeting, Budget Meetings, and weekly Staff/Executive Committee meeting.

    Manage the Negotiated Transient segment with support from Atrium National Sales

    Perform additional related tasks as requested by the General Manager, such as, but not limited to; hosting events and participate in, or conduct proactive sales initiatives, travel, and work extended hours based on business demands.

    Any and all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.
