What You Will Be Doing
As the Director of Sales for the ASD Alpha Team, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and shaping the success of our dynamic sales teams.
Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will lead and inspire a team of direct reports, consisting of Account Managers and Outside Sales Representatives.
Your primary focus will be on developing and executing strategic initiatives to maximize sales performance, expand market share, and foster strong customer relationships.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and motivate a growing team of sales professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
Provide guidance and support to Account Managers and Outside Sales Representatives to achieve individual and team sales targets.
Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with the overall business objectives.
Collaborate with the Chief Revenue Officer to set realistic and ambitious sales targets, ensuring alignment with the company's growth trajectory.
Customer Relationship Management:
Work closely with Account Managers to nurture and expand relationships with key existing accounts to maximize wallet share.
Collaborate with Outside Sales Representatives to drive new customer acquisition and growth in target markets.
Help manage key accounts and strategic partnerships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.
Sales Process Optimization:
Analyze and optimize the sales process, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness at all stages.
Leverage HubSpot CRM and Marketing Automation System (MAS) to enhance sales operations, lead generation, and customer engagement.
Performance Monitoring:
Implement and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track individual and team performance.
Regularly assess and report on sales metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Collaboration and Communication:
Foster effective communication and collaboration between the sales team and other departments.
Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure a unified approach to customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
3+ years of B2B sales experience
Proven experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in a technology or related industry.
Experience managing a book of business that is at least $25M
Track record of successfully managing enterprise-level client relationships and exceeding sales targets
In-depth knowledge of low-voltage technology solutions and services.
Familiarity with HubSpot is a plus.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to execute and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
