    Customer Applications Support Specialist

    who will be responsible for supporting Engineers with application and technical issues. This position will help increase Engineers' abilities beyond the normal break fix skills.

    Primary responsibilities will include:
    Support, plan and engage customer project requirements. Use all resources possible including Application Engineers, Engineering Support, and the Field Service team.
    Help support Field Service Engineers (FSE) with option installations, specifically, testing & training during and after installation.
    Provide phone support for all aspects of FANUC product.

    Help Managers and phone support personnel to determine an appropriate direction for issues such as application need, service need, or specific option installations.

    Work with Managers to support FSE's by coordinating on-site service with Application Engineer or Engineering Support personnel.

    Work with the entire FSE group to help resolve difficult issues and problems not easily solved and become the escalation point for these issues.

    This position will also act as the liaison to FANUC laboratories if needed.
    Ideal candidate will have the following experience and education:
    Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field of study, or related experience.
    10 or more years of experience in engineering in a manufacturing or automation environment.
    Extensive knowledge of FANUC CNC products including CNC, servos, spindles and software development.
    Strong knowledge of engineering, application and manufacturing processes including CNC, PLC and servo systems
    Proficiency with computers and relevant software including, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and knowledge of CNC application software (fapt ladder, etc...).
