    Regional Sales Manager - Nashville Metro

    Position Summary:

    This role involves implementing and executing sales and marketing strategies in a specific territory to meet annual sales targets. The primary focus is on acquiring and retaining valuable customers, following a defined marketing plan, identifying sales opportunities, and leveraging available resources to close deals.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Develop a sales plan aligned with marketing direction, company strategies, financial boundaries, and sales goals.
    • Oversee sales activities with Broker organizations in the assigned area.
    • Provide clear guidance in line with company objectives and track outcomes for success.
    • Handle profit and loss responsibilities within the designated region.
    • Assist in creating and executing functional budgets for each territory in the region.
    • Negotiate sales initiatives with key clients to boost profitable sales.
    • Proactively train team members to effectively address customer requirements.
    • Visit local/regional foodservice accounts and business clients to secure new product placements.
    • Execute brand promotion strategies with specific accounts, such as product showcases, sampling, marketing plans, and in-store/restaurant promotions.
    • Maintain a pipeline of prospects and projects to achieve sales targets, including identifying potential accounts, engaging key decision-makers, and updating pipeline tools as directed by the company.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, products, regulations, and constantly strive to enhance sales performance.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to improve the overall customer experience.
    • Participate in industry events and leverage networking to broaden growth opportunities.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) preferred, along with three to five years of relevant sales experience. Must have the ability to analyze financial reports, spreadsheets, industry data, and summaries.
    • Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, and listening) are essential, with the capability to present information effectively to VP-level management both externally and internally.
    • Travel requirement of 70%, including up to 40% overnight stays, and possession of a valid Driver's License.
