Description
Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Director, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales of Nokian Tyres in the replacement market for passenger cars and light trucks.
Working in a dynamic and collaborative team environment, the Regional Sales Manager serves as a trusted business advisor and expert consultant on Nokian Tyres' products and services.
He/She will operate in an assigned geographic territory (Quebec, Canada), traveling to customer locations, growing existing accounts and developing new busines, mainly working from a home office environment in the Province.
Responsibilities
Effectively execute the Nokian Tyres sales strategy; retaining and growing existing accounts as well as developing new business.
Build a strong and trusting relationship with our customers in territory during regular site visits and sales calls.
Continually develop and maintain sales activity with key regional dealers.
Engage customers through superior product and service offerings as well as demonstrated product expertise.
Within the assigned territory, manage the launch process for new products and services.
Participate in marketing and product knowledge events such as seminars and trade shows.
Utilizing CRM tools, market analysis and other intelligence; monitor territory sales progress and adapt approaches to optimize sales effectiveness.
Resolve operational and administrative issues, respond to internal and external inquiries, and prepare routine and special reports as required by management.
Uphold Nokian mission and values, and demonstrate supporting behaviors in day-to-day actions.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
University degree from an accredited institution of higher learning.
10+ years outside sales experience, preferably within the tire or automotive industry.
Demonstrated analytical, decision making, and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Excellent listening, consultation, negotiation and presentation abilities.
Proficient with MS-Office application suite and Salesforce / CRM applications.
Ability to travel 75% within the assigned region, by air or car.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Must be authorized to travel to the U.S. for occasional sales meetings.
Prior Tire industry experience
Proven track record of building and maintain strong relationships.
Strong in Public Speaking.
Reside within Province of Quebec, Canada.

Construire une relation solide et de confiance avec nos clients sur le territoire lors de visites régulières sur site et d'appels commerciaux.
Développer et maintenir continuellement l'activité de vente avec les principaux concessionnaires régionaux.
Engagez les clients grâce à des offres de produits et de services de qualité supérieure ainsi qu'à une expertise produit démontrée.
Sur le territoire assigné, gérer le processus de lancement de nouveaux produits et services.
Participer à des événements de marketing et de connaissance des produits tels que des séminaires et des salons professionnels.
Utiliser des outils CRM, des analyses de marché et d'autres renseignements ; suivre les progrès des ventes sur le territoire et adapter les approches pour optimiser l'efficacité des ventes.
Résoudre les problèmes opérationnels et administratifs, répondre aux demandes de renseignements internes et externes et préparer les rapports de routine et spéciaux requis par la direction.
Défendre la mission et les valeurs de Nokian et démontrer des comportements de soutien dans les actions quotidiennes.

Exigences
Diplôme universitaire d'un établissement d'enseignement supérieur accrédité.
Plus de 10 ans d'expérience en vente externe, de préférence dans l'industrie du pneu ou de l'automobile.
Compétences démontrées en matière d'analyse, de prise de décision et de résolution de problèmes.
Fortes compétences interpersonnelles et en communication; capable de travailler en collaboration au sein d'équipes interfonctionnelles.
Excellentes capacités d'écoute, de consultation, de négociation et de présentation.
Maîtrise de la suite d'applications MS-Office et des applications Salesforce/CRM.
Possibilité de voyager à 75 % dans la région assignée, en avion ou en voiture.
Doit posséder un permis de conduire valide.
Doit être autorisé à voyager aux États-Unis pour des réunions de vente occasionnelles.
Expérience préalable dans l'industrie du pneu
Expérience avérée dans l'établissement et le maintien de relations solides.
Fort en prise de parole en public.
