    Description

    Komatsu Ltd. or Komatsu is a Japanese multinational corporation that manufactures construction, mining, forestry, military equipment, diesel engines, and industrial equipment like press machines, lasers, and thermoelectric generators. Gigaphoton Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Komatsu (Head Office: Oyama Japan/Region Head Office: Beaverton Oregon U.S.) that develops, manufactures, and services deep-ultraviolet (DUV) light sources for the semiconductor industry. Our product portfolio includes excimer lasers using argon fluoride (ArF) or krypton fluoride (KrF) gases to generate light in the deep-ultraviolet spectrum.

    Job Overview


    As General IT Support you will be tasked with supporting Field service engineers, Gigaphoton software/hardware installs at customer sites, as well as fielding requests from corporate. This is a very dynamic and self-driven role in which while not performing tickets and direct requests you will be examining the IT infrastructure and processes to refine and improve it.

    Key Job Responsibilities

    • Set up new employee hardware and software accounts
    • Manage mailing lists and group members for teams
    • Assist Field employees in networking setups of customer tools
    • Support help tickets from employees
    • Maintain Endpoint and Server Inventory assignments
    • Assist in implementing corporate IT initiatives
    • Occasional travel to support installation of FABSCAPE hardware/software at customer sites
    • Write and Document Procedures

    Qualifications/Requirements

    • AS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related professional experience
    • Experience in Windows and Linux OS
    • Adaptive to learning new software systems
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • General Networking knowledge
