    Staff Accountant

    Location: New York | Hybrid

    The Controllership Team for SS&C Intralinks is chartered with providing critical business information on a timely basis to ensure optimal efficiency in decision making for the organization. The Controllership team acts as the trusted source of all actual financial information and prepares actual financial results on both a U.S. GAAP and management reporting basis.

    What You Will Get To Do:
    • Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations and supporting schedules
    • Assist in the preparation of key revenue account reconciliations, analyses, and entries
    • Assist with monthly expense analyses and upload large volume journal entries for the team
    • Support Accounting team with various ad-hoc analyses and management reporting
    • Prepare monthly bank account reconciliations for all of the Company's global bank accounts
    • Manage and reconcile all ad hoc bank transactions on a daily basis Assist with monthly prepaid and deferred rent entries and reconciliations
    • Own the proper scheduling of all prepaid supplier invoice transactions
    • Assist with the analysis and booking of monthly accruals
    • Other ad-hoc tasks and analyses as needed
    • Participate in the quarterly financial statement reviews, year-end audit, and statutory audits
    What You Will Bring:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience
    • In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP accounting and reporting requirements
    • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
    • Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills are essential
    • Experience with Workday or other SaaS-based systems a plus
    • Innovative self-starter capable of working independently
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
    • Analytical with well-developed problem-solving skills
