Captivate NYC is a high-end entertainment company that specializes in planning, producing, and executing successful and stylish events for corporate, brand & product, social, and celebration clients. Clients would include large scale weddings, art museums, and private banquets. I was responsible for chauffeuring and assisting the performers in setting up for the events. 

This role would take place only on weekends, so as it wouldn’t interfere with my regular schedule.

Chauffeur and Performer’s Assistant -Present

  • Provide safe and reliable transportation to high-level clients and performers in well maintained luxury vehicles.
  • Plan ahead and execute efficient routes to optimize travel time and minimize delays.
  • Offer a high standard of customer service, catering to specific needs and preferences. Kept journals on clients and performances needs. 
  • Greet clients with a friendly and courteous demeanor, creating a positive first impression.
  • Always maintain a professional and polished appearance while representing the company. 
  • Act as a point of contact between our clients and the executives/staffing at the reception that we were attending.
  • Handle personal tasks for clients, such as helping setup for a performance or handling personal errands through the day.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure the safety of passengers and others on the road.
  • Keep up-to-date with vehicle inspections, licenses, and registrations.


NILLAM LOGISTICS & BRIO |New York, New York |  (Position terminated due to company selling)

Nillam Logistics is a concierge courier specializing in the logistics and delivery of medical samples and corporate catering. All drivers provide our clients with white glove service and all the custom care you can expect from a concierge service. We service facilities, labs, offices, homes and businesses across the food service and medical industries. I was responsible for catering to high-end clients, and would often do Covid-19 testing for film and Broadway actors, radio personalities, and high level shareholders of the company.

White Glove Courier Manager  – 

  • Managed, operated, and carried out all major Covid-19 testing operations for the Tri-state area.
  • Clients would include high profile actors, high profile families, Broadway production crews, shareholders of both Nillam Logistics as well as BRIO, and many other upscale clients. 
  • A timetable would be organized every week to match individual drivers to specific jobsites, and I would personally overlook, and go out to test all of the high-end clientele. Myself, and other drivers, would adhere to strict safety protocols and highly professional communication and interactions with all clientele. 
  • Rapidly helped grow the company’s size and revenue from the ground up as Covid-19 was first starting to surge across the globe. Used experience from my previous experience as a Fields Investigations manager to help kick start a highly productive couriering team.
  • CEO and I worked side-by-side on a bi-weekly basis to conduct performance checks on current drivers and address any positive or negative feedback that our clients had.
  • Our testing lab which was owned and operated by BRIO was the largest lab for private Covid-19 testing In NYC. As manager I would check in with the lab daily to make sure all samples were delivered in a prompt and timely fashion. As well as to make sure all drivers followed proper safety protocols.

 

LANDLORD GUARD |New York, New York |  (Positions terminated due to Covid-19)

Landlord Guard is a tenant screening company that works with multiple property management companies that manage upwards of $300m in real estate. I was responsible for all outside sales, as well as managing the field investigations team. I was also tasked with expanding, scaling, and optimizing Landlord Guard’s client/employee acquisition and tenant screening process across the Tri-state area. 

Field Investigator 

  • Independently went out to conduct one-on-one interviews with potential tenants, as well as, current tenants.
  • Verification of all financial, personal, and other required documents such as salary forms, SSNs, photo IDs, addresses. This required the utmost confidentiality, as all collected documents had to be discreetly transported, and disposed of, once verified.
  • Performance of background checks for all potential tenants, as well as, forwarding of all necessary information to manager in a timely and professional manner.

Sales Representative 

  • Successfully managed relationships with over 40 accounts to drive sales growth in alignment with strategic plan.
  • Acquired 14 new named accounts between 2017-2019 by identifying, engaging, and selling to the correct prospects.
  • Successfully developed strategy to drive business growth throughout territory, thus generating $250k in new business revenue in 2018. Exceeded target product objective for 2019 by 6%.
  • Developed sales strategies for existing accounts, while identifying new business prospects that were a good fit for Landlord Guard.
  • Established new merchandize by updating visual appearance on the older sales packages in order to engage clients and drive continuous sales. Added brand personality to our service, in order to build brand recognition and loyalty among clients. Increased new client acquisition rate by over 20%, and retention rate by 12%. 
  • Prepared reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing necessary information. 

Field Investigations Manager 

  • Profitably lead a 4 person field investigation team and reduced turnover by 60% from previous management.
  • Created and managed schedules for all field investigators by using RPS (route planning software) “Circuit” to create all visitation routes. Field investigators spent less time on the road, fewer miles driven on average, and less fuel consumed, thus greatly reducing company costs and improving quality of life for all field investigators.
  • Directed recruitment, training, and staff development initiatives to maximize productivity and revenue potential.
  • Enhanced employee files sharing by introducing and giving educational courses in how to setup and use Dropbox.
  • Implemented process improvements to increase employee and customer interaction satisfaction.
  • Collected, sorted, and disposed of all documents collected by the investigations team. 
  • Created and organized Excel spreadsheets to keep track of visited tenant’s names & application numbers, location, date, and payments due to field investigators. Would report all spread sheets to financial department.  

 

 

 

 

 

ACADEMIC TUTOR & CAREGIVER| Al-Ain, U.A.E | 

Partnered with an academic and caregiving professional for children with disabilities from prominent governmental families in the U.A.E. 

  • Teaching elementary students from the ages of 8-14. Subjects included English, Mathematics, History, Science and Social Sciences; as well as test preparations skills. 
  • Caregiver responsibilities included taking children to movies, swimming instruction, music instruction, attending concerts and plays, and accommodation of all special needs.
