A Virginia Tech graduate from New Jersey with 3+ years of customer-facing commercial sales experience. I started off in real estate sales before transitioning to the IT industry. Since May 2021, I have worked as an Account Executive for a $14B global IT company called SHI International Corp. based out Somerset, NJ. The best part of my job is being able to talk technology with a diverse group of business and IT professionals every day! In my free time I enjoy golf, baseball, gardening, and spending time with my family.

Inside Account Executive at SHI International Corp. | Somerset, NJ (May 2021 – Present)
Currently working in the fastest growing federal sales department in the IT VAR space. I am responsible for developing business between SHI and the US Department of Energy. This includes all 21 National Labs, 20 Staff Offices, 16 Program Offices, 11 Operations Offices, and 4 Power Administrations. Within these accounts, I work alongside their IT Leadership selling software and hardware across all spaces: cloud, security, data center, networking, IoT devices, and IT services.
Responsibilities include:
- Research prospects and generate leads via cold calls and emails.
- Convert prospects to customers by providing cost savings and exceptional account support.
- Uncover customer pain points and learn project requirements.
- Schedule meetings with internal/external solution experts to solve customer concerns and meet project needs.
- Conduct customer demos of SHI’s e-commerce site to encourage customers to quote and place order directly.
- Compete for open bids on government procurement sites and work with contracts team to respond to RFPs.
- Negotiate with partners for deeper discounts on behalf of customers.
- Register big deals with partners to beat out competitors and maximize profits.
- Proactively send software renewal reminders and quotes to existing customers.
- Prepare and host customer quarterly business reviews and cost savings reports.
- Hold account mapping calls with partners to uncover new business within overlapping territories.
- Use CRM and BI tools to develop accurate forecasting, pipeline, funnel, and other reports.
- Work with contracts, order-entry, accounting, and logistics teams to ensure orders are quoted, billed, and delivered correctly and on time.
Leasing Consultant at Harbor Group Management LLC | Parsippany, NJ (June 2020 – February 2021)
As a Leasing Consultant at a 212-unit luxury apartment complex, I was responsible for numerous sales, administrative, and marketing functions. This included answering phone inquiries, sending follow-up emails, giving property tours, creating social media posts, processing applications, and facilitating tenant move ins. I addressed tenant questions and concerns regarding billing and facility issues, assisted the property managers with delinquent accounts, and helped create communication and marketing materials that were approved and adopted for the complex. During the last two months of 2020, I received a companywide shoutout from the CEO after winning a region-wide leasing competition by leasing 20 new apartments, raising occupancy from 87% to 97%.
