    Position Description:


    The Staff Accountant position is a hands-on position responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and activities of the AP/AR processes.

    The Staff Accountant should be highly motivated, have a positive team attitude, and be able to implement change as the organization undergoes growth, process improvements, and integrations.


    Position Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate full cycle AP for all vendors and ensure timely and accurate vendor payments
    • Coordinate full cycle AR for all customers and ensure timely submission of invoices
    • Ensure all invoices have supporting documentation and are coded to correct departments in accordance with corporate policies and GAAP
    • Assist with General Ledger and month end close processes
    • Provide superior customer service internally and externally, ensuring timely responses to inquiries in a courteous and professional manner
    • Provide internal process and external support for annual audits, quarterly reviews, tax filings, state registrations etc.
    • System administrator for company expense reports and credit card programs
    • Manage year end 1099 tax process
    • Ad hoc projects as needed
    • Responsible for the adherence to the Capital Rx Code of Conduct including reporting of noncompliance

    Required Qualifications:

    • Undergraduate bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or other quantitative fields
    • 2+ years of prior Accounting experience with increasing responsibility preferred
    • Ability to challenge and improve existing processes through automation and redesign
    • Motivated team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced, forward-moving environment
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
    • Extremely flexible, highly organized, detail oriented, and able to shift priorities easily
    • Attention to detail & commitment to delivering high quality work product
    • Experience using Sage Intacct, and/or Brex preferred but not required

    Base Salary:
    $55,000 - $75,000


    This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for the NY - based position.

    The actual base salary will depend on several factors such as:
    experience, knowledge, and skills, and if the location of the job changes.
