The Senior Portfolio Manager coordinates the investment delivery for clients. Asset allocation, investment selection and fulfillment decisions are made in conjunction with a client's unique goals and constraints.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Monitor global macroeconomic and capital market developments and have an ability to explain complex information to clients and colleagues.
Conduct investment research on individual stocks, bonds, and other investments (mutual funds and exchange traded funds).
Build and manage portfolios for clients based on their unique goals and constraints, within the confines of our investment philosophy and approach.
Participate in public presentations on a regular basis.
Satisfy ongoing compliance requirements across all accounts and relationships.
Maintain a working knowledge and understanding of trust accounting principles.
Maintain technical ability across necessary software programs including trading, trust accounting and management software, as well as word processing and spreadsheet programs.
Attend corporate events, social gatherings, and other events necessary for cultivating prospective client relationships.
Consider financial planning needs and coordinate necessary team members for assistance.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience building and managing portfolios for high net worth individuals.
Background of making asset allocation decisions based on broader economic considerations, and objectives/constraints of the client.
Experience making public presentations and interacting with the financial media.
Strong public speaking and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of estate planning and managing trust accounts.
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), and/or MBA desired
