    General Description

    The Financial Accounting Manager will be the annual external financial audit point of contact; preparing the annual financial statements and Form 990. This position will also be responsible for the company's compliance reporting, including state registrations, insurance, and other compliance activities to ensure financial operations adhere to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Ensure Balance Sheet Reconciliations are current and reviewed.
    • Lead the annual external financial audit by ensuring all PBC requests are provided timely and accurately.
    • Prepare the annual financial statements.
    • Prepare the annual 990 form for review by tax firm.
    • Maintain all W-8 and W-9 forms and file the annual 1099's.
    • Track and file all state registrations, as well as keeping current on all changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and other relevant regulations and requirements.
    • Administer all insurance policies.
    • Partner with cross-functional teams, including accounting, treasury, legal, and operational departments, to ensure alignment on financial reporting and compliance matters.
    • Other financial duties as directed by SVP, Finance.
    Requirements

    • Analytical-the individual synthesizes complex or diverse information.
    • Problem solving-the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyzes information skillfully.
    • Communication- Individual needs to respond to requests in a timely manner and needs to speak and provide reports in a clear and professional fashion. Reports should be presented in final fashion.
    • Quality management-the individual looks for ways to improve and promote quality and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
    • Judgment-the individual displays willingness to make decisions, exhibits sound and accurate judgment and makes timely decisions.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
    • 5+ years of relevant experience in Finance and Accounting
    • Strong GAAP knowledge
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
    • Prior experience with SAGE Intacct or other ERPs.
    • CPA license required.
    • Global Non-Profit finance and accounting experience preferred.
