    They continually strive to bring value to their clients through high-quality data deliverables and services in pipe cleaning and assessment, cross bore inspection, trenchless rehabilitation, and subsurface utility locating and mapping.


    Summary:


    The Accounting Manager is a self-motivated, highly detailed professional that will assist in overseeing the accounting department's functions to ensure efficiency and compliance.

    Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for ensuring data integrity and accuracyLiaison with accounting software and other system vendors and consultantsDevelopment of system controls to ensure data integrityOversees, monitors, and works to improve accounting procedures, internal controls, and database managementAssists the CFO in producing accurate and timely financials statementsTrains staff on proper company proceduresOversees the month end closing and financial reporting process including account analysis and balance sheet reconciliationsProvides monthly and ad hoc reporting for Accumark and Benchmark operating companies working closely with NUG FP&A leader and business GMCoordinates the bank and financial audits with the Controller and CFOCoordinates annual income tax return filings with Controller and CFOAssist with other projects as assigned

    Supervisory Responsibilities:
    Assists in supervision of accounting department supervisor and staff, including daily workflow and month end close processes

    Requirements/Qualifications:
    Strong working knowledge of GAAPPossesses strong leadership, supervisory and management abilitiesPays close attention to detailHas excellent critical thinking skills as well as ability to be highly analyticalAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlinesDemonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to interact at all levels of management throughout the organizationStrong organizational and time management skillsExhibits strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office Products

    Education and Experience:
    Bachelor's degree in accounting or financeCPA or MBA designation desiredMinimum four years of public/private accounting preferredFinancial analysis experience preferredTwo to three years of supervisory experience
